I'm a curriculum nerd turned instructional designer with a soft spot for sneakers, punchlines, and making learning unforgettable.
For six years, I taught in classrooms, always asking: How can I make this click for every kind of learner? That curiosity led me to designing full-on learning experiences especially during the pandemic, when I taught adult writers at FOX completely online. That's when I realized: I'm a storyteller. I take expert content, layer in data, visuals, a little vulnerability (and maybe a joke or two), and turn it into something that sticks.
I've worked with everyone from neurodivergent kids to high-achieving entrepreneurs. Whether it's one-on-one or one-to-many, I bring energy, strategy, and heart to every learning moment. My goal? Make learning feel less like a chore and more like a movie you quote later.
Learning should feel like discovery, not a download. I design experiences that invite curiosity, play, and surprise.
Insight without heart is just a spreadsheet. I read between the data points to meet learners where they are whether they're visual, verbal, or beautifully wired outside the norm.
I collaborate with SMEs like a translator. I speak fluent "genius-but-busy" turning brain dumps into bangers.
I believe in visual-first learning: if you can see it, you can feel it—and remember it. A strong image can teach what a thousand words can't. I don't do clipart vibes. Ever.
Remote-first doesn't mean impersonal. It means intentional. Every click, prompt, and pause have purpose. Every pixel should feel like it was designed with you in mind—because it was.
Learning thrives where people are rested, respected, and recharged. Knowledge retention isn't magic. It's good design.
These design documents outline key objectives, deliverables, and a unique learner engagement strategy tailored to drive retention and real-world application. Curious how I approached alignment with stakeholder goals or learner needs? Feel free to ask—I'd love to walk you through the strategy.
These e-courses blend imaginative design with practical tools to engage learners and elevate retention. Each one reflects what's shaped me as a facilitator and continues to refine my approach as a designer.
